Located in the delightful village of Fajã Grande at Europe’s westernmost point, Argonauta is surrounded by a paradise of natural beauty and tranquillity.
The owner of this delightful house is a resident Italian who is a photographer and island enthusiast. The house has a bohemian and homely feel with original floral frescos from the 1930’s on the walls and woodwork from a vessel shipwrecked off Flores’ western reefs.
There is a guest lounge on the first floor with TV, CD player, library and internet access. The local restaurants provide a great variety of delicious evening meals.
The location of Argonauta is wonderful, just a short walk from the port and swimming area and there are some great rock pools close by. Walking to the North and South of Fajã Grande is spectacular.
There are 5 en-suite double rooms available (bathrooms are quite small), including 2 suites in the eaves of the house.
Minimum stay 3 nights.
40 minutes drive from the airport at Santa Cruz, Argonauta is in the best village to stay in on the island, Fajã Grande.
