Quinta Sao Caetano

Quinta Sao Caetano is a relaxing, family-run B&B on the outskirts of Lagoa.

The quinta has been in owners Luis and Maria’s family since 1875 and has the clean Azorean-style décor and warm welcome which makes Sao Miguel’s smaller B&Bs so appealing.

There are just three en-suite rooms (one double and two twins), a relaxing lounge and an upstairs breakfast room with a view across the south coast and out to sea. The beach at Praia Populo is just a ten-minute walk away, and it’s a short drive west into the capital Ponta Delgada.
