The list of must-see sights and lesser-known hidden gems is a long one: the great western crater at Sete Cidades, the hot springs in Furnas, the epic Capelinhos volcanic peninsula, the Algar do Carvao caves, the fairytale waterfalls at Poco da Ribeira do Ferreiro, and magnificant Mount Pico.

Flexibility is best when you’re on holiday – our guides have a plan, but they won’t hold you to a strict timetable. We also have a choice of vehicles: you can stick to the roads in a comfortable Mercedes saloon or minibus, or you might prefer to explore the more unfrequented, out-of-the-way routes on a 4×4 jeep tour. Tours can be private or part of a small group, whichever you prefer, and if you have any specific interests, we can create personalised days just for you.
