Torel Terra Brava

The Torel Terra Brava is Terceira’s newest hotel.

The Torel Terra Brava is no exception; outside, the stout Terceiran stone jambs and arch-topped windows have been restored to their former 18^th century glory. The décor is at once homely and feisty – natural materials and natural colours dominate, with more than a nod to the North African textiles and fabric designs which once passed through Angra do Heroísmo in abundance during the cit’s golden age.

There are both indoor and outdoor pools, a wellness centre and spa, and the excellent in-house Restaurante tRêS. Being located in the very heart Angra, you’ll also have many of the Azores’ best restaurants right on your doorstep, and the city’s historic landmarks are within easy walking distance: the Se Cathedral, Angra Marina, the Jardim Duque da Terceira and the extinct Monte Brasil volcano are just a stone’s throw away.
