Solar da Gloria ao Carmo

The Solar da Gloria ao Carmo is a lovingly-restored 18^th Century house, now repurposed as a traditional Azorean B&B.

The house is situated in Livramento on the south coast of Sao Miguel. There are three rooms in the main house – one double and two suites, and both suites have twin beds with a seperate living room. A recent extension to the original house is home to two one-bedroom mezzanine-style apartments. Azorean cuisine is a major focus for owners Eduarda and Jose – breakfasts on the 1st floor terrace are a particular highlight, as are dinners in the evening: showcasing the best seasonal, local Azorean-produce.
