Located on the outskirts of the small village of Capelo, it is just 1km from the most important volcanic site on the Azores; the volcano of Capelinhos and its excellent interactive museum. The accommodation is around 35 minutes from Horta and 25 minutes from the airport on the island of Faial. See below for more information on Faial island.
Nowhere is too far away on Faial and there is some excellent walking nearby but most other activities start and finish in Horta, so we recommend hiring a car.
