We offer unique golf holidays and they are becoming more and more popular.
This golfing week on São Miguel bases you on the lovely south coast of São Miguel in Hotel Caloura, a popular 4 star hotel with pool near to a sandy beach. We include 4 x 18 holes of golf at the Batalha and/or Furnas courses, both within 30 minutes drive of the hotel.
Batalha is in the north west of the island and overlooks the sea and is the newest and most challenging course with a 27 hole course, while Furnas (located in the central mountains at an altitude of 500m) is an 18 hole course sprinkled with lakes and stands of Japanese Cryptomeria. I think you an agree that this is a great spot for a golf holiday.
The courses were designed by Mackenzie Ross and Cameron Powell Associates and offer many facilities including, trolley, club and caddie hire, together with clubhouse and training facilities.
