Description
Quinta do Mar is one of those rare finds in life; sumptuous surroundings, delightful location and wonderful hosts. This former adega (winery) in the fishing hamlet of Caloura has been tastefully renovated and brought back to life by its current owners; Chris and Nick, resulting in a tasteful mix of modern living space and original features.

The Quinta was first opened in 2005 and offers guests secluded terraces and relaxing communal areas with short walking trails through the gardens to the hillside at the back of the property. The guest lounge has antique Chinese furniture and hand made Persian carpets and there is also a comfortable dining room, where Chris cooks special meals on certain nights in the week should guests choose to eat in. Breakfasts and snacks are served in the stylish garden ‘pavilion’ with sliding doors and views over the pool, the orange grove and ocean beyond.
