Casa do Tanque
This unusual cottage is light and airy due to the large window which runs the whole length of the living room overlooking the lily pond and towards Casa da Palha. All rooms are on one floor with a modern open plan layout comprising fitted kitchen (washing machine, tumble drier, electric oven, gas hob, and microwave), lounge and diner. There are also two twin bedrooms each with their own bathroom.
Casa da Palha
A modern more conventional looking cottage on two fl oors, this lovely property is filled with a mix of modern and traditional Azorean furniture. Like Casa do Tanque, the layout downstairs is open plan with the same facilities but with an additional toilet. Upstairs are two twin bedrooms each with their own bathroom.

Description
These two beautiful cottages have recently been built (2006) in the grounds of a 200 year old manor house, located in the outskirts of Lagoa, the ceramics town on the south coast. The cottages are surrounded by pastures and fruit trees and also a one hectare garden with a lily pond.
