Description
This elegantly converted 3 bedroom guesthouse is located on the sea
front in the former whaling town of São Roque on the North coast of Pico. The house retains many of the original features and has a grand first floor
lounge with large windows overlooking the ocean, open fire, comfortable
sofas, antique furniture and some interesting maritime memorabilia.
There is a small terrace at the back of the house and from there you can
reach a viewpoint overlooking São Jorge. São Roque is also one of the two
ferry ports on the island and there is an interesting, recently refurbished
whaling museum to explore just 5 minutes walk from the house.
