Having returned from California to Pico supposedly for a quieter life for her husband, the energetic owner of this traditional village house took on the organisation of its renovation among others.
The house is located just outside (2km) the quiet fishing village of Prainha on the North coast of the island overlooking São Jorge. It is fully equipped for self catering (towels and linen are provided) and built from traditional lava stone.
There is also a supermarket in the village and a pizza restaurant within walking distance but the location is fairly remote so a hire car is essential.
