We hope you had a lovely Easter. This month we have fantastic news from SATA Air Azores about a new direct flight from Manchester and also winter direct flights. We have also partnered up with Birdwatch magazine and Battersea Yoga to offer some special interest group holidays….

Manchester flights to the Azores |
From 3rd May 08 to 27th September 08, SATA Air Azores are introducing a Saturday direct flight to Sao Miguel from Manchester. The outbound flight makes a short stop at Gatwick to pick up passengers and the return flight goes straight back to Manchester.
Flight times are:
Manchester/Gatwick Gatwick/Sao Miguel - 1845/1950 2050/2330
Sao Miguel/Manchester - 1310/1755
We have also had confirmation that the Tuesday direct flight from Gatwick will operate throughout the winter for the first time this year at a lower cost to the summer flight. Coupled with low off peak hotel rates, this is a great time to visit if you are on more of a budget.

Yoga & Dolphins Holiday – Booking fast! |
In conjunction with Battersea Yoga, an Independent Yoga Partnership in South West London, we are organising a 1 week holiday from 2-9 September 08. You will be staying in the lovely Convento Sao Francisco, go out swimming with dolphins and whale watching and have yoga and meditation classes with two of Battersea’s highly qualified teachers.

Migrants, vagrants & endemic birds – Bird watching Holiday |
Following the success of last year’s trip, we are delighted to offer another week’s bird watching holiday from 7-14 October 08 in conjunction with Birdwatch magazine. This trip will be led by Dominic Mitchell (the magazine’s editor) and will visit the islands of Terceira, Corvo and Sao Miguel. The endemic Azores Bullfinch and Nearctic vagrants like the Red-eyed Vireo will be among the trip’s targets but with the superb track record of the islands for American vagrants, you should expect the unexpected!
Price: £1,149 per person
Includes : return flights from the UK, minibus transport, ensuite B&B accommodation on twin share basis (single supplement £88), services of Birdwatch tour leader, pre-tour information pack and day-to-day bird check list.
