Be completely independent with your hire car and 5 planned circular walk routes. Your walks vary from 4km to 12km (2 to 5 hours) and allow you to explore the impressive Sete Cidades crater and the Canario lake areas to the west of the island. There is also a stunning walk down from the Fire Lake, the Azores’ wildest crater lake, and a pretty walk along the south coast.
