Azores Diving Holiday Faial – 7 nights

The Azores Archipelago is a special location for the dive enthusiast. The warm Gulf Stream and its deep inshore waters have helped create a rich, spectacular marine life and provide superb locations for exploring the deep.

Atlantic Diving Holiday

Faial has some of the best dive sites in the Azores ranging from the wonderful Faial/Pico channel with the most diverse habitat in the Azores; a 5 nautical mile wide shelf ranging from 45m to 500m in depth. There are also several caves to explore for the more experienced divers including Gruta Profunda with an entrance at 35m and an internal exit to the surface. There is also the opportunity to dive round old volcanic craters and vertical drop offs. Most dives are close to Horta so this makes an ideal base for any diving holiday on Faial.
