The cottage is in the main garden of the owners’ home but when they have guests staying they do not use the garden so is effectively your own. Centrally located in the village of Fajă Grande, it is close to shops, restaurants and the sea and from the front door there's an uninterrupted view over the village to the islet of Monchique, Europe's most westerly point.

The accommodation is open plan (20m2) comprising a sleeping and sitting area with one double bed at an upper level and a well appointed galley kitchen, dining area and shower-room at a lower level. Facilities include electric oven, gas hob and fridge (with freezer tray). Although there's no washing machine, the owners will do washing and/ or tumble drying on request at no extra charge; an iron and board can be borrowed.
Outside, there is a private sitting and barbecuing area with magnificent views out to sea.
An arrival pack of basics (tea, bread etc.) can be arranged directly with the owners at cost from the local shop.
