The São João comprise 5 one bedroom apartments (3 double and 2 twin) each with cot, iron, pegs, oven, TV, fully equipped kitchen/diner/lounge and bathroom. All apartments are either on the ground or fi rst floor and open out onto the back of the property overlooking the small lawn with garden furniture and a see-saw and swings for children. There is also a shared washing machine in an outbuilding.
