Azoris Angra Garden Hotel

The Azoris Angra Garden Hotel was the very first hotel to open on the island of Terceira.

Overlooking the main Praça Velha square in the centre of the UNESCO-protected capital Angra de Heroismo, the hotel recently reopened it’s doors following a major refurbishment. There are 118 en-suite rooms, some overlooking the beautiful botanical gardens and some opening onto the Praca Velha, where you’ll always feel you’re right in the heart of the Azores’ most historic city.

There’s an indoor pool and gym, and the Plaza Bistro and Wine Bar is popular with guests and locals in the evenings. The hotel’s Restaurante Jardim is light and spacious and has a contemporary Azorean menu and décor to match.
