A holiday of a lifetime. The Azores are beautiful and the people are so friendly and proud of their islands, we can't wait to go back.

We're passionate about sustainable, low impact tourism. We believe it's vital to keep the islands an unspoilt, special place for wildlife, local people and visitors alike.
We contribute annually to SPEA, an organisation on Sao Miguel whose projects include the conservation of the natural vegetation in the Pico da Vara area.Through this they hope to ensure the survival of the many endemic species on the island. They are also responsible for the excellent Priolo (Azores Bullfinch) Environmental Centre where visitors learn more about this unusual bird and its habitat.
Together with a local conservationist on Sao Miguel, Archipelago Azores is helping to raise awareness among local schoolchildren of the precious marine life around the Azores and more general environmental issues. Initially, our donation is funding the production of colouring in booklets about the whales and dolphins around the islands.
We also support Whale Watch Azores, a marine-life research organisation funded through the paying guests on their whale and dolphin research holidays which you can book through us .Their main research project is compiling a photo ID catalogue of sperm whales around the islands; to date they have identified over 1100 individuals making it one of the largest catalogues in the world.
As a member of AITO (the Association of Independent Tour Operators), we've achieved the highest 5 star award for our responsible tourism efforts.
You can help too. We offer you the chance to offset the carbon emitted during your flight, by supporting projects which will lead to significant carbon dioxide reductions across the globe. We do this through the Tourism Industry Carbon Offset Service.
Read our environmental policy opposite for more information on what we can all do to help.
24 hour support
